About
Harbor Light Therapy was created to be a steady, grounding place in the midst of life’s storms.
If you’ve experienced sexual trauma or relational harm, you may feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. You might find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, even if you understand them logically. Therapy can help you make sense of your experiences and more importantly, help you feel like yourself again.
At Harbor Light Therapy, we offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space where your story is honored. Our work centers on helping you rebuild trust in yourself, process painful experiences safely, and create meaningful, lasting change.
You are not broken, your responses are normal and healing is possible.

Our Services
-
Harbor Light Therapy offers outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive and compassionate environment. Whether you or your loved one are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, therapy can provide a space to feel understood and supported.
Our approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and developmental stage, integrating evidence-based practices such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and client-centered therapy. We work collaboratively to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and support meaningful, lasting change.
Healing looks different at every age and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences.
When something overwhelming happens, it can get “stuck” in the nervous system, showing up as anxiety, triggers, or negative beliefs about yourself. EMDR helps your brain reprocess these experiences in a safe and structured way, so they no longer feel as intense or disruptive.
Many clients find that EMDR allows them to move forward with a greater sense of calm, clarity, and self-trust without having to relive every detail of the past.

Coaching provides a space to focus on personal growth, life transitions, and goal setting in a supportive and collaborative environment. It is designed for individuals who are looking for guidance and accountability rather than clinical mental health treatment.
Unlike therapy, coaching does not involve diagnosis, treatment of mental health conditions, or insurance billing. Instead, it focuses on building insight, developing practical tools, and creating meaningful change in your day-to-day life.
This service can be a great fit if you’re feeling stuck, navigating a transition, or wanting support as you move forward.
